Launcher Freeze when it start running on Mac

Hello,
Thank you for your awesome engine, I already use in Window 10

I buyed macbook pro 2019 for hardwork
and it seems stuck on preparing Epic games launcher

After installation,

  1. offline mode preview work well

  2. login and redirection looks well, cause it passed

  3. freeze on ment:
    “Preparing the Epic Games Launcher \n Hi {USER}, Welcome !”

  • on task info, “no response” on Epic Games process
  • freeze after some second, seems some early process worked
    (can see rotating process circle)

(some “ments” can be different because system language is not English)

Try to reinstall it, maybe you are missing a file

I fixed this by going into /Users//Library/Caches/ and deleting com.epicgames.EpicGamesLauncher —don’t forget to empty the trash for good measure.

If you can’t see your account’s Library folder, browse to your account’s main folder then from the Finder menu open View > Show View Options then at the bottom of the tall, thin window that appears check the last option, “Show Library Folder”.
