Launcher error BI-QE-504 / HTTP 504 Gateway Timeout on specific account (0 entitled apps)

Hello,

I am experiencing a severe issue with the Epic Games Launcher where the engine versions grid is broken, the “+” button is disabled, and my project list is completely empty.

The logs show a direct server-side timeout issue unique to my account: LogOnline: Warning: OSS: QueryEntitledBuilds request failed. An error occurred while communicating with the game servers: HTTP 504 response from [https://launcher-public-service-prod06.ol.epicgames.com/launcher/api/public/assets/Windows?label=Live&namespace=ue](https://launcher-public-service-prod06.ol.epicgames.com/launcher/api/public/assets/Windows?label=Live&namespace=ue) LogCommunityPortalOSS: Display: ...found 0 entitled apps LogPortal: Error: FAlertReporter: Reporting Alert code: BI-QE-504

Right before this timeout started happening, the logs also captured an ecommerce limit failure: code=200 response={"quickPurchaseStatus":"REACHED_PURCHASE_LIMIT","reasonCode":"errors.com.epicgames.ecommerce.orderprocessor.purchase_limit_error"}

This issue is strictly tied to my specific account backend profile. If I log into a different Epic Games account on the exact same PC and launcher installation, everything works perfectly, meaning my local configuration, firewall, and network are completely fine.

It appears that my User Profile (UserID: 681833006ca347bc88703e72ad7938f0) has become “stuck” or deadlocked in a loop on your backend ecommerce/entitlement servers following that purchase limit trigger. Could you please manually clear/reset my active backend session, flush any stuck transaction hooks, or check my account’s entitlement status?

Thank you.
