Launcher Error - A file corruption has occurred

hi people,
when i try to open the launcher start a update, the launcher start the download but everytime show this after finish the download, can be some problem with my connection or something?

Hi Ricardo,

Sorry to hear you are having this issue. We will need some more information from you to help troubleshoot what is going on. Please provide the following:

  • The latest log from your Launcher, immediately after the issue occurs. Found here: C:\Users\USER.NAME\AppData\Local\UnrealEngineLauncher\Saved\Logs
  • Your exported Dxdiag report.

You may need to upload these in a Zip file.

Also, please be sure that you are running the Launcher with full admin rights, and consider disabling any Anti-Virus software you may have running.

i can use the application 4.1.0 normally but dont update

Can you please clarify what you mean by this?

“i can use the application 4.1.0 normally”

  • Does this mean that you can open the UE4 Editor on 4.1.0?

“but don’t update”

  • Are you trying to update to the 4.1.1 preview when this error occurs?

when i start the launcher he began a update automatically, but show that error, when i click in "Ok’ button, he open the launcher normally and i can use my version of UE4 4.1.0

probably some archive of my actual version was corrupted, and when the laucher try to update to the last version get that error,

today i check the option “Verify install” and he had a corrupted file, and now, start the update without error
