When 4.10 came out, I was able to run launcher, have it update itself, and I updated to 4.10.
Yesterday I opened launcher, entered credentials, but when I hit “Sign in” button launcher spit out error message that it can’t connect to the server. I disabled firewall, a/v, but it still couldn’t connect to the server.
Going offline works.

I think it has got to do with ip… certain ips are blacklisted (I donno why, maybe Epic has to ask its hosting service provider).
It is clear to me as when I cannot connect to the Epic server, I immediately changed my computer to use my cellphone’s hotspot (different isp from my home connection). And I can connect without any problem whatsoever. So it is clear, when I changed my isp, I can connect to Epic Server.
Try the troubleshooting steps in this section of the troubleshooting guide. If you have a firewall or any network monitoring software, please make sure that you all ow the following exception:
Sort of. I had to set WAN rules in my firewall for the launcher to “unspecified” (instead of “Allow all (connections)”) and disable firewall when starting launcher.
That’s the only way I can get launcher starting/updating.
