Launch Object off seesaw - Add impulse?

Hey guys, I’m trying to build a project where I drop a ball off a drop-off onto a seesaw and the object on the other end of the seesaw launches into the air.

I’ve got the object to launch but I need the momentum of the object to be much greater and I need the launched object to be extremely Bouncy.

I’ve made the dropped object heavy and made the launched object extremely light. And I’ve increased the bounce of the launched object in the physical material. But it’s energy is very low and it barely Bounces at all. I need to ramp up the initial launch energy and the bounciness of the launched object.

I’m thinking about using an Add Impulse Node, but 8 don’t know how to use it:
How do I make this Node take effect only once the object has been launched.
How do I make the Impulse direction whatever direction the object is already moving in once it’s been launched.
Which event Node do I use?

I’m not that knowledgeable in Unreal yet, so please, if you could, speak in a way that’s easy to understand.

I appreciate any help I can get on this because I’m running out of ideas.
