"Launch Game" keeps warning me about deleted textures

This is only a minor annoyance right now, but I am seeing that when I launch my game via “Launch Game” after right-clicking my uproject, I get warnings about four missing textures.

The problem is, I deleted these textures several days ago, and also removed all references to them. There’s also nothing in the code that would reference them; I did a grep.

Why would this be happening? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

I just wanted to chime in and say that Unreal seems to be really picky about missing assets. As an artist, it can be extremely demoralizing to experience constant dialogues informing you of something you already know. As a TD, I’ve become familiar with many of the ways to solve this issue, but it would be great if there were either a way to suppress these messages, or better yet a base level method to resolve the issue altogether (i.e. an option that tells the engine to completely remove all references).

This seems to no longer be an issue with beta 6.

Thanks for the update. If the issue resurfaces, please let us know. We’d be more than glad to help.
