Launch failed UE5.0.1 on Macbook Air (M1, 2020), Monterey12.0.1

Hi,

I’m completely new to UE. I have installed, but the launch fails at 34% compiling shaders.
I have a Macbook Air (M1, 2020), Monterey 12.0.1
I’ve tried to google solutions and can only find windows troubleshooting.

Any help or direction is appreciated.

When you say fail - does it crash ?
If it just stays at 34% for a long time that is quite normal. Compiling shaders always takes time the first time.
You can fire up Activity Monitor and see if there are Shader Compile workers running ( about 6 )

Thank you @HatmanAlchemy . You are quite right. In fact this morning (New Zealand time) its loaded fully, and when i close it and reopen it reloads really quickly. Thanks for replying, its good to know there is a community of support out there.
