Launch Engine after building from source

I’ve been using Unreal engine from the epic launcher for a year now, but now I had to build 4.20-arcore from source because I couldn’t package a AR game.

I was wondering if, since I built a version of Unreal engine from source in github directory, if the software is distinct from the one in the launcher or not.
I mean can I open it from the launcher instead of visual basic?
