Hi Xolotli,

Could you post your dxdiag (system specs)? There are some updates that are required to make sure the Launcher works properly.

  • Windows: Go to the Start menu and type ‘dxdiag’ into the search bar. Open that file and then click ‘Save All Information’. Post that text file here.

  • Mac: Go to the Apple menu and click ‘About This Mac’.

Unfortunately I believe the issue is hardware related. You have a dual-core processor and 2 gb of RAM, but the main issue is that your graphics card only supports up to DirectX 9. A DirectX 11 compatible card or higher is required to run the Launcher and editor.

Here is what we recommend:

  • Desktop PC with Windows 7 64-bit or a Mac with Mac OS X 10.9.2 or later

  • 8 GB RAM

  • Quad-core Intel or AMD processor

  • DX11 compatible video card

Try going to this forum thread to see what others are using to run the editor and discuss specs with them.
