UE Plug-in Support

When available in the marketplace, the Launcher now supports downloading and installing plug-ins to an editor.

Users with Engine 4.8, will see a link under the engine slot in the library. Clicking the link will open a window where they can view installed plug ins.

From the same window users will be able to remove and update plug-ins

Improved loading experience of assets from disk. Removed a noticeable hitch when loading large number of items.

Improved launcher self patch system to decrease download size between versions
–Bug Fixes–
- Fixed some crash issues reported by users
- Notifications of new available builds should no longer take excessive amounts of time
- If the launcher is closed during an update the update will now start at the appropriate place
- Made the right click menu behaviour in the UE project section consistent between Mac and PC
- The Version selector will now always appear correctly when attempting to launch certain projects
- Fixed an issue where notification icons were not appearing when there were updates for the UT Editor
- Users will receive a warning when cloning a code based projects
- Users should no longer see “Free” on buttons when the user is already entitled.
- MAC: The Launcher will detect language settings properly when set to Chinese (simplified)
- MAC: Launcher menu bar no longer flashes and shows double UI elements when resized
- MAC: Fixed an issue where in some cases the launcher could restore off screen when opened
- MAC: The Launcher will now automatically restart after pushing an update while the launcher is open
