Late Night Tango - UE5 Short - Move AI & Metahuman

I am always inspired to find ways to use unreal engine everything that goes beyond action scenes. Character animation imho is the one thing the makes or breaks a cinematic. It is something that I am always experimenting with. This was my first project with Move AI and I am impressed by the results. I will follow the platform’s development.

The cinematic: A tango dancer practices his technique somewhere in Buenos Aires late at night. Even if we are not professional dancers, we all do that when we hear a tune that inspires us to move - sometimes in the most unexpected places. I hope you like it.

Main Software: Unreal Engine 5, Quixel

Hi there @AndreasSing,

I definitely agree with you. There’s been several times when a bad animation has ruined something, otherwise, incredibly cinematic. So seeing what you’ve managed to do as a first project is kind of remarkable. The dancer moves slowly with calculated steps while clearing considering each move. It looks wonderful!

How long did this take you? And do you plan on making more shorts similar to this?
