Laser Scan (PointCloud) Reconstruction Problem


Hello, I need your support on Laser Scanning reconstruction.

When I reconfigure with LSP data, a strange pattern emerges.

I have also tried by changing the minimum distance, but I cannot get any results.

The model I’m trying to make is an obelisk :)

RealityCapture creates watertight meshes therefore it extrapolates the geometry in the areas with missing data. In your case, there are missing data from the laser from the other sides of the obelisk so the app fills the volume to the edges of the reconstruction region.
