So I followed this tutorial to make a laserbeam: (31) Unreal Engine 5 | Lasers Tutorial Part #1 - YouTube
I wanted to attach the cone, that emitts the laserbeam to a moving object. The cone also moves with the object but the beam wont.
The problem I have is, that i can only parent the beam to the cone when i run the game in simulation mode becaus only then the beam itself starts to appear in the world outliner.
Hey @volk.SWAG.en!
Would you share your blueprints that you have so far so we can have a better picture of what may be going wrong?
Any additional specifics or information you provide may go a long way in solving your problem!
Wich blueprint you want me to share exactly because there are multiple BPs
This is the BP for the Laserspawn:
With the “Attach Actor to Actor” node the beam moves but its not at the right starting point (the tip of the cone)
Got it working by changing the Location, Rotation and Scale rule!
