Large Structure mesh shows odd missalignment.

Hi there,
I’m working on the reconstruction of a local church. Its a long time project, no drone, had to reshoot certain details a few times - made sure weather was similar. Also used two different Sony cameras.
Now the (almost= final mesh shows missalignment in a single spot (see images).

My question is - can this be fixed by changing alignment settings or should I omit images from the smaller camera (RX100 3 vs. ZV-e10) alltogether. Or is there another cause I havent thought of?

Corner of the building seems “torn appart”…

Thanks for any suggestions on this topic

Hi Tiberius_20001,
indeed, this is wrong alignment result.
As you are using various cameras, you can group the images before process. Click on Images in 1Ds view and then choose the option Group calibration wrt EXIF:

After that you need to align the dataset again.

If this won’t work you will need to add some control points in that area which will be placed on images from both cameras. Probably you will need more than 3 CPs place there.

@David
Thanks for the quick answer. I did as you told me, select it all images and then clicked on group - I think it worked (even though the buttons never give you visual feedback if you press them or not).
Alignment is much better now, but I can still see a small gap. Do you think it would help if I threw out the RX 100M3 images all together? at least for this part of the reconstruction. guess I’ve just got to try.

Regards.
Kai.
