Large scale mesh Z-Fighting

Hiya Guys

Ive been working on a project for uni involving some rather large scale terrain meshes. Problem is i’m getting some serious edge swimming / Z-fighting / general horridness.

On smaller scales the same meshes don’t have this problem, and it was only through up scaling them to this size do i get it. The meshes themselves are a few thousand meters in length. Anyone got any idea on how to fix this?

Hi,

I’m not sure if it always working but adjusting NearClipPlane distance solved Z-fighting issues for some people. AnswerHub link: https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/87970/how-do-i-avoid-z-fighting-on-my-meshes-when-viewed.html
