Hi I have read a lot of posts trying to get an understanding of this, but I am still clueless. I want to purchase a new laptop that will work well with UE 5 and also Maya, predominently doing 3D animation and development. I want a machine that will not crash and waste too much time. Are these specs overkill? i9 Base clock is 2.2GH up to 5.4GHz , Nvida 4090, Ram 64 GB, NVMe SSD 2 TB also getting conflicting advice on screen. Would a 16" UHD+ 3840x2400 OLED, WVA, 60Hz, anti-glare, touch,100% DCI-P3, or a 16" 240Hz 1440P Wide Color Gamut Display work better?
For fact, what you really need maybe the better CPU and AMD or NVIDIA.The screen you can buy it for later and cost not too much for a larger and much better screen, So you just need to focus on CPU and RTX or GTX or AMD, and then you can buy a screen and link it with your laptop then.
One of the quoters suggested that the 16" UHD+ 3840x2400 OLED, WVA, 60Hz, anti-glare, touch,100% would not run well on UE5 and the other screen would run much smoother. Is that accurate or sales speak?
