Laptop Desktop min specs

I have no clue how game development works yet. I have a more than adequate PC at home but I’d like to know whether I could do certain parts of the development on my laptop while away. (i7 3770, 16Gb RAM but the graphics card is integrated)

You should be fine. Depending on GFX card, you may have longer than normal shader builds, but, other then that you will be fine.
