Hello everybody,
I hope I post it in the right place x) So, I have my character animated, and I have the lantern the character must hold. I created a socket on the skeletal mesh of the character, and in the thirdpersonBP, the lantern is a child actor, and have the socket I created as the parent socket. It works well in the viewport, I see the lantern following the hand, but when I start the game, the light doesn’t follow the hand at all, it stays at her initial position, so where the had is at the beginning at the animation. I don’t understand why, because it worked during like 20 minutes yesterday, before doing that, and I can’t wrap my head around that…
Any idea ?
Well, I fixed it… And once again, I want to kill myself for that x) I just did tests before with some “attach to” nodes, and I never deleted them… And as it was on an event begin play…
