Hi guys, I have a problem about landscape.
I followed the tutorial exactly to create landscape, but my scene doesn’t show the terrian. (Tutorial Link: Unreal Engine 5 Beginner Tutorial - UE5 Starter Course - YouTube Time:1:58:18) I attach the image below.
I tried many way, like following other tutorials or redownloading UE5, but none of them works. I’m very frustrated
My version is UE5, and my laptop configuration is attached as image.
Thanks!
Hey there @anonymous_user_a097a0d1! Welcome to the community! It looks like your landscape is either hidden or the settings when you started may have been off a bit. No worries! So head over to your outliner, click your landscape and delete it outright. Then follow the steps below and let me know when your unreal reacts differently.
So I have a brand new level with just lights in it.
Swapped over to landscape mode:

Now I can see a green grid showing where my landscape will be.
I’m going to leave these base settings as is and press create. Mine has a texture as it’s set as my default here, but yours should spawn with the checkerboard you saw in the video.
If it generates but remains unable to be seen, click it in the hierarchy and press the “F” key to see if it can bring the landscape in frame. If it does but shows nothing, we may have to look into a number of other options.
