So basically the issue I’m having is super bizarre. I was working on a level block out and everything was normal. I went to edit the landscape and as soon as I opened the Landscaping tab for some reason the landscape shifts to be off centre and the edges just randomly…fall? I don’t even know what you’d call it. As I said it’s absolutely fine until I open the landscaping menu and then it stays stuck like that. I’ve tried using the erase tool over the affected edges to see if that would snap it back into place but it doesn’t seem to do anything so I’m pretty stuck. Any suggestions?
Believe it or not I have seen that result before
try changing number of
World Partition Grid Size to 1 (default is 2)
and
World Partition Region Size to 64 (Default is 16)
I find that the world Partition Grid has a gutter and there are ways to adjust the distance of the gutter, but I don’t like bothering with that when I can simply just make it one grid.
The correct answer to this is:
Don’t use landscapes. Or world partition.
It’s for a university project I don’t have much choice lol
Why not?
If you have a professor forcing you to use things that aren’t used in the real world because they bought a pre-made curriculum, send them here to get schooled.
There is 0 reason for you or anyone to even bother learning “landscapes” that havent worked since 4.18 and world partition, which hasnt worked since inception.
