We’ve setup a world using a streaming level, loading in several sub-levels as 'chunk’s of our world (terrain). When we add rivers using the Landscape Spline tool to individual chunks, if we save+push the individual chunk to which the spline was added on, we lose the ability to edit that spline permanently unless the streaming level is pushed alongside the sub-level. Is this intended functionality? This is problematic as we want to have different people working on different sections of the world, and it has worked fine for regular terrain editing - not having to push the master streaming level alongside… but now with rivers losing their ability to be edited (or deleted), we run the risk of having to roll back days of work if something is missed by accident.
If someone could please clarify how Landscape Spline data is saved, maybe I could understand how to smooth out this workflow?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!
