Landscape Splines. I don’t get it. In microsoft paint i have shape tools to easily construct circles, ovals, pentagons, hearts, and adjust control points in a symmetrical fashion. In UE5, I enter landscape mode and I have to ctrl + click to add a spline point. this lets me manipulate each point i add independently, but it is unbeknownst to me of any easy way to symmetrize 2 control points. once a control point is added, it is assigned an angle based on the already placed control points. This angle is not dynamic after placement and needs to be manually adjusted. it immediately becomes apparent that constructing even a simple oval or circular track is begrudgingly tedious and may require a precise mathematical formula that should just be built into the engine. I’m interested if I’m missing something or if any of you have seen this difficulty with landscape mode splines or if anyone has a plugin recommendation for better workflow when using splines for things like vehicle tracks in your worlds.
Id love it if I could make a circle or an oval in blender and export it into UE5 and have a spline in landscape mode attach a control point to each vertex of the simple circle/oval/shape.
