Landscape spline meshes appearing during gameplay can't be removed

I have some landscape spline mesh roads that I have removed but keep spawning during runtime.

When I use Build>BuildLandscapeSplineMeshes, I get 81 changes to save, when I save it says they are already saved (seems like it’s not saving anything), now when I play the road is gone, but when I reload the map I’m back to square one.


This road should not exist

I have tried a bunch of options from the build menu to try to fix it without any success, does anyone know how to fix this please?

Found a solution, in case anyone else has a similar problem, here are the steps to fix it:

  • Play the game
  • Press Shift+F1 to see the cursor and eject from the player
  • Find and select the offending actor
  • Right click, go to Revision Control and select history
  • Now you are able to see the path and file name of the actor
  • Navigate to the path in windows and delete the file (you’ll need to stop playing in editor)

This solution probably works only if you’re using source control, i don’t know of another way to find the file name
