How do I sharp paint on Landscape??? Like the sand and grass in the image below.
Set the fallout in the brush settings to 0 and the strength at full or just really high. you can also select different brush shapes(I think) using a square one may be best for this look. Also they appear to be using solid color materials
Landacape doesn’t work that way.
The paint is per pixel, each pixel is about 1m squared.
So you cant really achieve the clean diagonals you have in the picture.
You can get close, but its always going to fade from layer to layer in certain zones just “by design”…
Then any idea how to imitate screenshot in my landscape? The developers of the screenshot used landscape 100% because I saw it in their development vlog. Any idea how they did it?
Thanks
I dont see why you’d want to use landscape at all when you know meshes work better and you don’t even have procedural grass or anytning special that wpuld work “easier” with landscape.
A mesh with vertex paint will work eons better all around.
And,
They either cut the size of the landscape squares perfectly, or - somewhat more likely - they used decals and tiling images to achieve clear transitions in ortogonal zones. Afterall, it looks blocky.
