Landscape road spline not same widths at both end points?

When using a spline layer on my landscape for the road spline I get two different widths although when all spline segments are selected their scale is identical (.3x1x1). Not sure what would be causing this to happen perhaps a potential bug in the code for unreal engine 5.2. In the picture provided the top end point of the splines width aligns correctly with my existing BSP road although the bottom photo’s end point of the spline is slightly too wide.
