Landscape Modelling

Hi!

So im pretty new to 3D-Vizualisation and do not wanna build a game. I watched some tutorials and downloaded some plugins for my needs, set up a project etc. My goal is to model a 3D-Visualization of a solar power plant with lots of panels, digital elevation model, fences and trees around it for the start.

I downloaded following plugins:
Landscaping by Lucid Drive
Solar Panels by Alex3D - Props
Megascans Trees by Quixel Megascans

So i imported the digital elevation model via Landscaping first. Then i imported some airborne imagery to visualize the land cover so i know what exactly i have to model in 3D and where to place it.

Now my problem is that the imported airborne image overlays all other objects i place in the scene, no matter if they have an texture, material or whatever attached to them.

I hope someone can help me with that question and nows how to deal with the Landscape plugin.

Screenshots of my scene to understand. Im pretty new to the theme so i guess it is a pretty easy question? If more info is needed, just tell me what u need and where to find it.

Is this a shading artefact? Kindly try moving your sun location by keeping Ctrl+L pressed while you move your Sun in scene with mouse. Lets see if changing sun’s position and rebuilding lighting resolves this.

Hard to tell… It could be, or it could also be that he used a giant decal to project the terrain texture onto 3D landscape, which would also explain his problem

Hi,
thanks for ur answers, i have not been active in UE for some time now, but i will have a look in ur suggestions, thanks a lot!
