I made a world composition and had been editing it for months. Now loading does not bring up landscape in editor at all. If I hit play from here or play at all in the level the landscape shows . stop playing it disappears again. All meshes are just floating in mid air until I play test. so I can no longer edit the landscape. I don’t want to have to redo it all over again… Help
I have not change the settings, I load and make current. Why would it show when playing but not allow for editing anymore??
It’s a long shot, but you try CTRL-H?
CTRL-H didn’t do anything
I unloaded and reloaded the make current in level window. tried show all. Still no landscape. I tried creating a new project and migrating and that didn’t work either. I am at a loss
I have no idea, I’m afraid. I saw this one my travels
I unchecked “enable streaming” under “world partition” in the World settings and it all came back! Thanks for leading me in the right direction

UE4 doesn’t have world partition it seems. I can’t untick enable streaming…I can see all the land in world composition window. I see landscapes fine in non world composition levels, so streaming could be the issue, but why would that affect in editor view? and why all of a sudden…also, I can see the lanscapes there in the x1y1 etc sub levels which are completely dark.
even tried shall all, multiple times
still not figured it out
_ apparent fix – Okay, I have created a whole new level in game, added as world composition, added new landscape, fill etc , did a bit of editing and this has now made the other levels missing landscape actors reappear in the all other levels when loaded.
