So, I’m a beginner and making my first landscape, Really basic, mountains with rocks. Anyways, I have added rocks and saved it. I’ve made it a routine to save every few minutes. After saving and exiting the UE5 and then opening the level again, all the materials that I’ve added were gone and only landscape was there. So, what should I do now?
I don’t use landscapes often, but if I remember correctly, landscape materials require special nodes in them that are just for landscape layers. You could try going into the material editor and make sure those are set up. I’m sure you could find a youtube video on landscape materials.
You also have to go into the landscape and set each material layer for a certain blend type. There should also be videos for that.
