Landscape material looks blocky. How to fix it?

Ya, I tried using a blur node along with it and increased the fall off inside the selector nodes and it made a drastic effect. Two layers with selector nodes in the WM are now blending pretty well except for a few minor spots here and there. But definitely a great improvement. I’ll try polishing the weightmaps more inside WM tomorrow. Time to Sleep.

Thanks

Finally, I got it, it was the weightmaps for snow and ground that was causing the blending portion to look pixelated. The weightmaps for both the layers inside WM were pretty sharp on the edges, so I tried increasing the fall-off distance for both the maps and guess what! It Worked.

Thanks a lot for your help… @

If anyone else out there is having the same problem then this might help you.

Cheers.

Hi ,

I am happy to hear that you were able to resolve your issue. I am marking this as answered for tracking purposes.

@anonymous_user_221fdbb4 What do you mean by cartoony…Can you upload a picture of your terrain with increased fall-off distance. That might help.

Please can you tell me your settings for building weightmaps in WM?? I am having the same problem but increasing the falloff makes it too unreal :\ it looks cartoony then
