I am trying to design a landscape material which blends a layer of sand with my previous grass/cliff material together.
To determine how to blend my sand Material I am using a texture of the flow-output of the erosion node in Gaea. Generally the MatLayerBlend_Simple does work, but at some locations really close up it produces weird angular blends between my previous material and the sand itself.
Does anybody have any idea why this stairs-like/edged blend happens?
I can confirm that these “stairs” are not in the original flow-texture, so I am probably making something wrong with the blend itself.
Something to do with resolutions maybe?
Thx so much in advance, I am really lost here. Maybe I need some kind of smoothing of the flow-texture?
