Landscape Material Attributes

Hey guys,

I downloaded two surfaces from quixel content and wanted to create a new Landscaping Material / Instance. So far so good, I linked the sampler types of color with basecolor, normal with normal, but I don’t know how I have to link my alpha with?

Alpha on a landscape makes 0 sense.

What are you trying to do exactly?

looks like an AO map

Sort of. I would think specularity or roughness is also a candidate since it looks like grass blades.

Even then, still doesn’t explain what or why OP wants opacity on a landscape material…
