There is amazing work being done on terrain / landscapes, just not at Epic it seems.

Yup… hoping someone at Epic can at least acknowledge there’s a future or some WIP.

You don’t have to use Landscape Material Layers. You can simply use anything in the material editor instead.

Of course, but they could really make it more streamlined…
