Landscape Layer Blend not updating Live

Good Day All!

Recently I started up a new project, and for some reason whenever I’m in the Landscape Painting mode, the materials aren’t being added until after the click is completed. So for example, if I had a large rock material that I wanted to blend to a smaller rock material to help break up the repeating pattern just a little bit, I’d click and drag over the landscape where I’d like the new material to be - but it won’t show me the landscape painting live. It only updates the layer blend after I’ve applied the paint completely.

In previous projects, when clicking and dragging in Landscape Paint mode and working with layer blends, clicking and dragging would show the material blends updating live while I’m painting.

Here’s an example of the issue, I hope I’m being clear.

How do I get the live updating of the landscape painting back? I’ve tried restarting UE5, and it works in other projects - any help will be appreciated.

Click first, then acrually paint.

Its probavly shader computations that need to happen for that specific landscape component.

If that doesn’t work, make sure your PIE window is set to realtime.
