So, I’m trying to make a simple map for the upcoming DND session, I turned on water and Niagara system for creating some smoke, other than that it’s a basic setup:
After some time a landscape just dissapeared and it wasn’t a visibility problem, I’ve restarted the engine and it just stopped loading, givin an error in logs, syaing that i do have waterbody but no landscape, although the water was displayed correctly and if u press play, the collision from the landscape was there. Afrer trying to solve the issue going through numerous youtube solutions and this forum, the landscape settings stopped working and it was completely gone. Then the niagara died and stoped compiling things, then the engine started crashing on startup. I’ve made last effort and started a new one, enabling all the previous addons in advance and then migrating the entire thing to the new one and everything worked! The only thing I’ve lost was a landscape, but that was an easy fix and I’ve decided that that’s it, couple more tweaks and I’ll pack the project.
Sadly, after pressing “build” button, the landscape dissapeared from a viewport again, although this time the ■■■■ thing was there if you press play. Restarting the project, and the same issue with an error, saying that I don’t have a landmass and a huge performance drop appeard, this time when I pressed play the map and the collision were gone, however! When I started the main menu map first and pressed play from there, everything worked just fine, the fps were gone but the map, materials and collision worked, until I pressed build again, just to try and move from a dead end, and now the entire map is gone again. I know that I’m doing somethig wrong, but can someone give me at least a clue on where to start digging?
