I’m having the issue where foliage applied to the landscape using the grass tool floats (as if following the heightmap for a different landscape).

I’ve tried the “RemoveLandscapeXYOffsets” and “grass.flushcache” commands without success. Wondering if that might be because of the way landscapes height data is handled differently in 4.24? Seems strange that this bug has been around for so long now.
It seems that the issue occured in my case because I was using an animated world position offset on the landscape (that only takes place a long way from the player, based on camera distance). I guess the grass tool was taking a snapshot of this and using it for placing the foliage.
Probably not something that many people will run into - but answering incase it comes up in someone’s search.
