Adding landscape segments (to an empty level) crashes the editor.
Rebuilding the landscape crashes the editor.
Changing the z scale of landscape segments doesn’t update the collision, it stays the same like with z scale 1.
With those glitches it isn’t even possible to make walkable hills larger than 256 meters.
Maybe it is time to introduce double precision into the engine as well, so no more level size limits.
When will we be finally able to make huge levels with huge (himalaya+valleys…) mountains!
How am I supposed to make real mountains, esp. with the collision issues for z scales greater than 1 or should I replace all the landscapes by static meshes?

this, SO annoying that we have kiddy games instead of real games with real height, who knew that wouldn’t be ideal ;0-0
Also for me and most annoying maybe is inability, not sure what causes it, to sculpt DOWN for areas of water or lower terrain just cuz I changed mind, well atm can’t do it. How is that a real engine when I’m forced into a different design out of engine falability.
Dunno what the actual cause is OR if there is some magical ‘fix’ but its not right, these things shouldn’t be difficult and they cause design issues. I don’t hasve this issue anywhere but epic games.
