landscape collision offset from surface causing floating foliage

I noticed that my collider was offset from the surface and realized it was mostly because of displacment. The displacement seperates the surface from the collision. Is there a way to offset the distance created by the displacement? Also even without any displacement the surface is just slightly off from the collision. I don’t knwo what coould cause it to be different. its just enough top notice floating foliage in a couple places. any help would be greatly apreciated.

thanks

I have further deduced that the difference comes from using nanite landscape. The collision mesh is not changed but the landscape is which causes it to be slightly different. enough to cause floating foliage.

Probably have to wait on nanite being a little less Alpha.

If you cannot, then maybe check the heightfield mesh system instead…
