Lake-river junction problem and slime textures

Hello everyone, I have two problems related to terraforming, as I’m just starting out in this field. My first problem is a junction problem between my lake and my river as you can see on the picture below. And I’ve tried changing all the parameters without managing to solve this.

My second problem concerns my terrain. In fact, I’ve created two mountains, the one on the right is fine, but the one on the left, when I move away, the texture is sloppy. Here’s the screenshot below to illustrate.

If you have a solution, I’d be grateful.

Heya, second problem is the sharp edges produced by some tools like sculpt & flatten , they give terrible distance visuals, the sharp edges it gives, to fix this use the smooth tool all over, use a low tool strength with a small brush to keep the edges where you want them, swipe all over the cliff face and on the top flat bit, and a tiny touch up to the edges, undo if you eat to much ground up.

I did as you said but it didn’t work. Maybe I did something wrong in the process? Here are the brush settings I used :

It still needs a bit more,
at the edge, where the grass comes down over the rock, should be just rock when the incline is greater than 45 degrees, it may take a few passes, zooming in and out to check it, maybe add some sculpt tool as well
