In my mind Shmoopy was suggesting using a waterfall to mask the transition. (A river flowing over a short waterfall into a lake)
I did a google search for “uefn lake river” and came across[ this twitter thread] (https://x.com/PixelatedDreamz/status/1917018915038691554). Important note: as outlined in the post this method only works in-editor, but hopefully illuminates a bit of the ‘why’ behind that seam.
Does lowering the final spline point of the river (as shown here) help with the transition?
Its a not final, It is first spline inside the lake
