Lag so bad the engine is unusable for me

I have modest system - Ryzen 7 7700x and Radeon 6750xt gpu. UE 5.6 Install and OS on nvme ssd. 32GB DDR5. Really excited to use this software but I can’t even move the environment around. Every menu lags and perhaps my specs are not enough. I have dug through old documentation and tried disabling telemetry/tcp/udp plugins with no luck. Then used Windows 11 graphic settings to ensure it is using my gpu. Added the editor to AMD Adrenaline and turned everything off so settings would not conflict and launching from adrenaline. Verified installation, uninstalled and reinstalled. When I very first installed I got a black screen and the program crashed but hasn’t crashed since, just so slow and every action I take is delayed several seconds or more. Nothing works for me, idk if anyone here can help me. I’ve adjusted viewport scalability to low. Still not able to use. I’m not sure what else to do. I’ve installed visual studio thinking maybe that would help. Chipset, gpu everything fully updated. Can anyone help me? I’d love to make a game, please help. Do I need to upgrade to make this happen? Thank you

What does your CPU, GPU, and Ram usage look like when working in the editor? Have your tried changing the scalability to medium or low?

Thank you for the assistance ZacD. Sorry, I finally figured it out just after posting this. It was still using the cpu for everything. I had 2 options in graphics settings but the 6750xt wasn’t there, not sure why I didn’t figure out that AMD Radeon wasn’t the 6750. So I went to device manager and enabled the gpu then restarted and it showed up as an option under graphics settings. Toggled EU 5 to used 6750, opened UE5 and it’s flawless, moves around no problem. Thanks again for expending some of your time helping me out. Really appreciate it, I wasn’t sure what else to do, but now I can get started making a game!
