My pc begins to lag when I’m working with blueprints (even the empty) and select tabs.
And lags occur in the launcher when I select (no click) something (tabs, project…). Tabs select game (ue, ark, paragon…) and left tabs (community, faq, market, library) don`t lag.
=>Lag any content associated with ue4 even outside running program (launcher).
Please do share a video, as I’m unable to reproduce this issue on my end. Have you tried rolling back to a previous graphics card driver to see if you still experience the issue? If not, you can give that a try.
Have you attempted to re-install the Epic Games Launcher and the engine version(s) that you are using? If not, give this a try and let me know if that helps.
I have not been able to reproduce any lag in the launcher or in editor at this time.
Here’s another thing you can try. Navigate to this file path: C:\Users\YourUsernameHere\AppData\Local\UnrealEngine\4.11 and delete the folders located here (DerivedDataCache, Content, Intermediate, Saved), and then attempt to reinstall the engine again. This removes all of the files that are related to that editor installation.
Looking, testing realized that the problem is in the windows. Window comment(http://puu.sh/p8tXT/738f9ef0e9.jpg), window menu, building window, saving window, log window, BP window… So any outside window causes lag. If the external window does not appear that there is no lag (if BP open in tab (not new window) no passive lag).
p.s. after repeated reinstallation and others had problems with auto save (in processing exports freezing engine) but is not much worried
I am marking this topic as resolved for tracking purposes, as we have not heard from you in a few days. If this issue persists, feel free to respond to this thread. For any new issues, please create a new Answerhub topic.
I did not receive notification of the last comment.
Yes indeed the problem was in the monitor. I did not even try to open the engine only on another monitor. If any engine window open on a regular monitor the lags appear.
I would like to resolve this issue.
