Lack of control with Vertex Animation Tool

I’ve been playing around with this for a bit now

and

I have some ideas for some very cool effects that this tool would be great for but there doesn’t seem to be any way of controlling the animation.

I can make it loop but is there any way of getting to to stop once its finished playing. Is there a way of creating a start-loop-end type of situation where it swaps animation based on whats going on?

You can create a material scalar parameter plugged in the “animation” input of the VAT node to control the current “play time” of the animation.
And then use a blueprint to control this parameter in-game.
