Hello, I am getting familiar with your character packs and so far they look good.

When I tried to use the female Mutable assets on UE5.7, it turns out the “Lab3 Business Essentials Bundle 01” uses one Skeletal Mesh asset from “Lab3 Tess Detective: Stylized Character” pack.

This causes the asset to not load on UE5.6 when not owning the Tess pack and to crash the whole engine on UE5.7. I submitted a pull request to Unreal Engine github so that it doesn’t crash outright, but I thought I would let you know as it might help you when migrating to UE5.7.

@Ivorne I’ll take a look and fix this problem asap. Really appreciate you pointing the issue!

@Ivorne turns out this whole node is redundant, and it just wasn’t deleted during the development

You can safely delete it and compile the main Customizable Object
Meanwhile I’ll upload a fix for 5.6 for both Bundle and standalone BW03 character today.

As a heads up, currently I’m working on porting everything to 5.7 with substrate materials and new features that Mutable provides.

5.7 version is not going to be backwards compatible since there are going to be many 5.7 only features and mixing 5.6 and 5.7 versions will lead to unexpected behavior.

Fixed versions should be live on Fab now

Thanks for the positive and quick reply. Great to hear about the upcoming improvements. I can confirm that it now works after the update.
