V1.3 Patch Notes

Hey all,

Here are the patch notes for the latest 1.3 update releasing today 5/15/2025.

Features:

  • You can now assign montages to your dialogue context so you can play animations on characters based on the dialogue they are given.
  • The demo content now has text above characters heads when they talk.
  • New metallic materials and textures have been added to manny and quinn.
  • 3 new animations have been added for quinn and manny, happy, sad, angry for when they talk. You can use these in your projects if you wish.

Bug Fixes:

  • Animations on demo content should now work properly and use the correct skeleton.
  • The demo content character should now have functional input on all installs. Previously he would not move if the third person template was not in your project.
  • Materials and textures should apply correctly to demo content characters.
  • Free tier now works as text only generation on all demo content show case examples.

Plans for the next update:

  1. An array of montage selections with a new V2 dialogue component to not break V1 versions.
  2. An interaction interface for easy NPC engagements.
  3. A dialogue context generator for easier filling out of dialogue context.
  4. Fallback voice dialogue with generation saving for offline use.
  5. A subtitle system to display subtitles on screen when dialogue is generated.
  6. Any feedback I get from users will be implemented as well.
