Set up footstep effects (Decals only in the LITE version) in just a few minutes with this plugin. It uses an alternative to animation notifies, automatically detecting when a character's foot touches the ground. No additional setup is required beyond configuring a few values in the component's defaults panel and assigning the skeletal mesh to track at Begin Play. The plugin supports both first-person and third-person characters, as well as physical materials.

This solution works seamlessly with any animation out of the box—no need to manually set up animation notifies for each animation file. Simply add the component to your character, configure the desired values, add your effects to a list, and let the plugin handle the rest!
