I have bought & installed HEVC Video Extensions - Download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store and but still can’t open/import an HEVC video I shot on my Pixel 8 recently, despite being able to play it in Windows Media Player.

same problem here, already tried resetting HEVC app, console just gives code 0x6110, using video from Iphone 15 pro max HEVC .MOV, I can replicate it to my other machines too and also with other smartphones (Xiaomi 12 in 8K mode or when using h.265 encoding in any resolution)
also, this is not directly relevant but more of a feature request, when processing multiple videos not all cores are used and to speed things up i have to launch multiple instances through the cli to work in parallel, maybe the parallel video processing can be handled in the backstage.

we are sorry for these issues. In mostly cases it is related to the codecs. Which version of RealityCapture are you using?
