This is not working for me. I rented an expensive cloud machine to do my initial processing, and paid for the PPI licence there when I exported my models, so I did log in. I saved the project files which I would now like to open locally on my own machine but I get this error that it was created on another machine. I am logged in, I can see my account details in the ‘about’ dialog and I have exported other models on this machine which I also paid for PPI licenses for. The only thing I can think of is that I had to associate my Epic account with my Google account at one point to log in - but i’m sure its the same account because it remembered my payment details.
In the docs it said that it is the input images that are licensed and not the result, which can be opened on another machine. This does not seem to be the case because I have the same input images and it is the resulting project file I can not open. I don’t mind paying again to re-license the images because it was the processing that was expensive. I cant see an option to do it because the project file will not open.
Hi dyoung287,
were you also logged in on hat machine before you paid for your inputs? As it is a cloud machine it could be possible that register key is still various.
I checked your account and it seems that you have just Epic Games account connected with RealityCapture. Is it true?
If you open just those images on other machine, do you see the L sign next to them in 1Ds view? Have you saved also the license file when you licensed your inputs?
It seems that you need to log on that machine again to register that machine and get your project openable.
