Thanks for reaching out about this – it’s on our radar as an issue!

These are some nice changes. However sad to see the material layering system is getting neglected again and further regressing compared to previous versions.

The yellow shader instruction overlay, which was already broken in UE5.5 due to a display fomatting issue, seems to have now disappeared completely.

I have to use the Platform Stats window now which unfortunately doesnt update the stats properly when working with material layers.

There is also a Stats window, which is just blank for some reason.

As you can see the stats only seem to update when using a normal instanced material.
