A baby gazelle is commonly known as a fawn or gazelle calf.

From birth to around 6 months old, itโs considered a baby gazelle.

Height: 40 โ 50 cm at the shoulder
Diet:
Initially relies only on the motherโs milk
After 2 to 4 weeks, it begins nibbling on grass and leaves
Behavior:
Very calm and shy
Stays hidden in grass during the first 1โ2 weeks of life
Rarely makes sounds, helping it stay safe from predators
In danger, it usually freezes in place instead of running away

Light brown coat with white spots for camouflage
Big dark eyes and long, alert ears
No horns yet โ they develop as it grows older
Movement:
Can stand and walk within an hour of birth
Moves lightly and can run fast even when very young โ survival instinct!
