i have a tracked camera from fusion studio and an keyed video that i exported as exr sequence. I created an image plate that is a child of the tracked camera and the image sequence as a media texture on it. In the sequence i created a meda track and everything works fine expect that i only get black silhouettes (so the alpha channel is working) but colored image on my image plate. The material on the plate is set to masked and unlit, so why there is no colored image on the plate?
black silhouette with working alpha means the alpha is fine but the color isnt reaching the material — classic with Masked + EXR on image plate, the masked path thresholds to black/white. switch that plate material to Translucent Unlit and make sure youre sampling MediaTexture RGB → Emissive Color and alpha → Opacity, not plugging alpha into the wrong pin. also check exr is srgb/linear as expected. if you just need to preview the sequence without wrestling the plate material, alpha video player from fab Alpha Video Player - Transparent Video UMG Widget & UI Media Component (UE5) | Fab plays exr/png sequences with alpha out of the box as a UMG widget — good to isolate whether its the sequence vs the plate setup
